Job summary

GE Vernova's Wind ROC is seeking a Technical Lead to supervise remote operation of offshore wind assets from our Barcelona-based ROC. You will monitor turbine performance, analyze alarms, and guide field teams through commissioning and service activities to keep assets performing reliably.

You will collaborate with engineering and support teams, interpret SCADA data, and contribute to safety, process improvements, and grid outage support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience in wind energy.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines in operational environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics for troubleshooting and field support.
• Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools.
• Fluent English (spoken and written); willing to relocate to Barcelona; EU work eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms.
• Remote diagnostics and troubleshooting for commissioning and service.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyze operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
• Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with occasional on-call weekends and holidays.
