Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead for the Wind Remote Operations Center based in Barcelona. You will monitor turbine performance, guide commissioning and service activities, and drive safe, reliable offshore wind operations from a centralized hub.

You will analyze alarms, coordinate with field teams and engineering experts, use SCADA and diagnostics tools, and contribute to continuous improvements while supporting rotating weekday shifts and occasional on-call coverage.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems in operational environments.
Fluent English (spoken and written) and EU work eligibility.

Responsibilities

Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
