GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center (Wind Energy) based in Barcelona, Spain. You will oversee safe, efficient offshore wind asset operations from a remote hub, guiding commissioning and service phases, with strong collaboration to keep turbines reliable.

You will monitor performance, diagnose issues remotely, coordinate with field teams, and drive improvements while traveling up to 20% and relocating to Barcelona if required.

Qualifications

• Experience in wind energy operations and support in remote or field contexts.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them to troubleshooting.
• Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools.
• Strong communication and structured problem-solving under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities via remote diagnostics.
• Assist field teams to resolve technical issues and restore performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyze operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvements.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages with safety and compliance as priority.
• Work on a rotating weekday shift with on-call weekends/holidays.
