Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for the Remote Operations Center (Wind). The role involves monitoring offshore wind assets from Barcelona and coordinating with site teams on commissioning, service, and remote diagnostics.

You will analyze data, troubleshoot electromechanical systems, and drive continuous improvement in a rotating shift and on-call environment. Fluency in English is required, with Spanish helpful.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering or equivalent experience in wind energy.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or electromechanical systems in operational environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting and field support.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
