Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center (Wind Energy) based in Barcelona, Spain. You will monitor offshore wind assets, analyze alarms, and support commissioning and service activities from a remote center.

You will work with site teams and engineers to diagnose issues, improve reliability, and ensure safe operation while coordinating with cross-functional teams. Fluency in English is required and some travel may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in wind energy
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems in operational environments
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting and field support situations
• Experience with SCADA systems and other digital monitoring tools

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance
• Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with occasional on-call support during weekends and public holidays
