Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead for the Remote Operations Center (Wind). Based in Barcelona, you will support safe, efficient offshore wind asset operations from a remote hub, coordinating with site teams and engineering experts to keep turbines performing reliably.

You will monitor performance, diagnose issues, and help drive improvements across commissioning and service phases, with occasional travel and on-call duties to ensure continuous operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent wind energy experience.
• Hands-on wind turbine or electromechanical systems experience in operational environments.
• Ability to read schematics and apply them to troubleshooting and field support.
• Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools.
• Strong analytical and structured communication, calm under pressure, proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear, structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyze operational data to identify faults, trends and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimization.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
