GE Vernova’s ROC Technical Lead in Barcelona leads remote operations for offshore wind assets, coordinating with site teams and engineering experts to keep turbines running safely and efficiently.

You will monitor performance, diagnose issues remotely, and guide field teams through commissioning and service activities, ensuring continuous improvements and compliance across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent wind energy experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms.
• Provide remote diagnostics and troubleshooting for commissioning and service.
• Assist field teams in resolving issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to solve problems.
• Analyze operational data to identify faults and trends.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimization.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety.
• Work rotating weekday shifts with on-call weekends/holidays.
