GE Vernova operates a ROC to monitor and control offshore wind assets from a Remote Operations Center in Barcelona. The ROC Technical Lead ensures safe, efficient performance across commissioning and service phases, guiding remote diagnostics and field support.

You collaborate with site teams and engineering experts to analyze faults, drive improvements, and maintain reliable turbine operation while meeting safety and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Hands-on wind turbine experience in operational environments
• Ability to read electrical schematics for troubleshooting
• Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Willingness to travel up to 20% and relocate to Barcelona; EU work eligibility

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms
• Remote diagnostics and troubleshooting to support commissioning and service
• Assist field teams in resolving issues and restoring performance
• Escalate complex issues with structured information
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams
• Analyze operational data to identify faults and trends
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings
• Contribute to process improvement and optimization
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety
• Rotating weekday shift and on-call weekends/public holidays
