Job summary

GE Vernova in Barcelona seeks a ROC Technical Lead to oversee safe, efficient operation of offshore wind assets from a remote operations center, supporting commissioning and service phases. You will analyze data, troubleshoot, and collaborate with site teams to ensure reliable performance across the lifecycle.

You will monitor turbines, respond to alarms, drive continuous improvement, and participate in rotating shifts with occasional on-call duties on weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Hands-on wind turbine or electromechanical systems experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot on-site.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyze operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
• Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with on-call support during weekends and holidays.
