Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center in Barcelona. You will oversee safe, efficient operation of offshore wind assets from a centralized hub, coordinating with site teams and engineering experts to detect, analyze, and resolve issues to maintain turbine performance.

You will contribute across commissioning and service phases, requiring strong diagnostic, communication, and problem‑solving skills, with travel up to 20% and a rotating shift pattern including on‑call

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering or equivalent wind energy experience
• Experience with wind turbines in operation environments
• Read electrical schematics and troubleshoot field issues
• Willingness to travel up to 20% and relocate to Barcelona

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance
• Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with occasional on-call support during weekends and public holidays
