GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center (Wind) in Barcelona, Spain. You will oversee safe, efficient operation of offshore wind assets, collaborating with site teams and engineers to diagnose issues and optimise performance.

Responsibilities include remote diagnostics, issue resolution, data analysis, and supporting commissioning and service activities, with travel up to 20% and a rotating shift schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in wind energy.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems in operational environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting.
• Experience with SCADA systems and digital monitoring tools.
• Strong communication, calm under pressure, proactive teamwork, and travel willingness.

Responsabilités

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear, structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyze operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvements.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
• Work on a rotating weekday shift with occasional on-call weekends/holidays.
