Job summary

GE Vernova’s Remote Operations Center seeks a ROC Technical Lead for offshore wind assets. You will monitor performance, analyze faults, and guide both commissioning and service activities from a remote hub in Barcelona, with a rotating weekday shift and on-call rotations.

Ideal candidates have an engineering degree, hands-on wind turbine experience, and strong diagnostic, communication, and collaboration skills. Willingness to travel up to 20% and EU work eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar systems in operational environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
