GE Vernova’s Wind Remote Operations Center in Barcelona invites a ROC Technical Lead to oversee offshore wind assets from a remote hub. You’ll monitor performance, diagnose issues, and guide commissioning and service activities to maximise reliability throughout the lifecycle.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on wind turbine experience, ability to read electrical schematics, and fluency in English, with readiness to travel and relocate to Barcelona if needed.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in wind energy.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar systems in operational environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting.

Aufgaben

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
• Work on a rotating weekday shift with on-call support during weekends/holidays.
