GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center in Barcelona, Spain. You will monitor offshore wind assets, analyze faults, and collaborate with site and engineering teams to maintain safe, efficient operation.

The role covers commissioning and service phases, remote diagnostics, and continuous improvement. Travel up to 20% may be required; fluent English and EU work eligibility are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Hands-on wind turbine/electromechanical systems experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting and field support.
• Fluent English; EU work eligibility and willingness to relocate to Barcelona.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Responsabilités

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance
• Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with occasional on-call support during weekends and public holidays
