Jobgether is seeking a Senior Python Developer based in Spain to work on a remote-first backend project for a next-generation football app. You will design robust services, implement AI-powered features, and build scalable APIs supporting mobile interactions. Collaboration is with an international team, with occasional in-person meetups.

Key tech stack includes Python, FastAPI/Flask, Docker, Azure, and modern CI/CD practices, with emphasis on security, performance, and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Proven Python backend experience in production systems.
• Experience with FastAPI or Flask and API design.
• Hands-on AI/ML API integrations (OpenAI, Hugging Face).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python backend services.
• Build RESTful APIs for mobile features and fan engagement.
• Integrate AI-powered capabilities via external APIs.
• Ensure asynchronous data flows and reliable inter-service communication.
• Design and optimize SQL/NoSQL databases for performance.
• Implement OAuth2/JWT security and data protection.
• Containerize apps with Docker; deploy on cloud (Azure preferred).
• Contribute to CI/CD, testing, and deployment automation.
• Collaborate with international remote team to deliver user-focused solutions.
