EPAM Systems in Madrid/Barcelona offers a Senior Python Developer role in a hybrid setup. You will design and implement secure, high-performing backend services powering generative AI apps on Azure, including GraphQL APIs and relational database optimization.

You will collaborate with DevOps/MLOps and data scientists to operationalize advanced AI capabilities in production, with a focus on secure data handling, scalability and observability.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience building backend services with Python.
• Hands-on experience creating GraphQL APIs using Strawberry.
• Strong SQL/relational DB design experience; ORM familiarity.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build and maintain GraphQL APIs using FastAPI and Strawberry.
• Integrate AI/LLM APIs into backend services with secure data handling.
• Architect relational database schemas and migrations for performance.
• Collaborate with DevOps/MLOps to containerize and deploy on Azure.
• Monitor and optimize backend performance for speed and cost efficiency.
• Implement unit and integration tests for reliability.
• Apply API security and observability best practices.
• Participate in CI/CD and improve production observability.
