Capitole is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer (Backend) to join their fully remote engineering team. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems, collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers, and contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend development experience.
• Proficiency in one or more backend languages (Python, Java, Node.js, Go).
• Strong knowledge of RESTful API design.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent communication and remote collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve backend software.
