The Flex is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Backend) to join its fully remote engineering team. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems powering innovative products, collaborating with a talented group of engineers across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of backend software development experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, Node.js, or Go.
• Experience with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful API design.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Excellent communication and remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain backend software.
• Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Write clean, documented code.
• Collaborate with frontend, product managers, and designers to deliver features.
