Pivotal is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Backend) to join a fully remote engineering team. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems that power our products, collaborating with a talented team across product and design.

Requirements include a CS/Engineering degree, 5+ years of backend experience, proficiency in Python/Java/Node.js/Go, and experience with relational or NoSQL databases.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional backend development experience.
• Proficiency in one or more backend languages (Python, Java, Node.js, Go).
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Familiarity with Docker or Kubernetes is desirable.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork in a remote setting.
