Capitole is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Backend) to design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems for its remote engineering team. You will work across the full stack, collaborating on architecture and delivering robust services that power our products.

The role emphasizes strong proficiency in backend languages (Python/Java/Node.js/Go), API design, and modern cloud and container technologies. Occasional in-person meetups may be required in Spain.

Competenze

• 5+ years of professional backend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in backend languages (Python/Java/Node.js/Go).
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Excellent communication and remote collaboration skills.

Mansioni

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain backend software.
• Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Write clean, well-documented code and perform code reviews.
• Collaborate with frontend, product, and design teams to deliver features.
