Job summary

GE Vernova in Barcelona seeks a ROC Technical Lead for the Remote Operations Center (Wind Energy). You monitor offshore wind assets, diagnose and resolve issues, and support commissioning and service phases to ensure turbines run reliably.

You collaborate with site teams and engineering experts, analyze data, and drive process improvements. This role requires English fluency, engineering degree, wind-energy experience, and willingness to relocate to Barcelona with EU work eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in wind energy.
• Hands-on wind turbine/ electromechanical systems experience in operational environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyze operational data to identify faults, trends and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
• Work on rotating weekday shift schedule with on-call support during weekends and holidays.
