Job summary

GE Vernova\'s ROC Technical Lead in Barcelona leads the remote operations center responsible for offshore wind asset performance. You monitor turbines, analyze data, and guide troubleshooting efforts to keep operations safe and efficient.

The role collaborates with site teams and engineering, supports commissioning, and contributes to continuous improvement. A degree in engineering, fluent English, EU work eligibility, and willingness to relocate to Barcelona are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent wind energy experience.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting.
• Experience with SCADA systems and digital monitoring tools.
• Fluent English and willingness to relocate to Barcelona with EU work eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance
• Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with on-call during weekends/public holidays
