UST España & Latam seeks a QA Automation Engineer (SDET) to design, develop and maintain automated testing frameworks for web apps, APIs and enterprise systems in a remote role based in Barcelona, Catalonia.

You will work in Agile teams, implementing Selenium, Playwright and Karate, creating API tests with Postman and SOAP tools, and performing performance tests with JMeter. Join us to contribute to quality improvements and fast-paced release cycles.

Formación

• Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer / SDET.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban).
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft Teams.
• Hands-on experience with testing tools such as: Postman, SOAP testing tools, JMeter.
• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
• Knowledge of Java.
• Experience with Selenium, Playwright, Karate.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test suites for frontend, backend, and API testing.
• Perform manual and exploratory testing to validate business requirements and application functionality.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium, Playwright, and Karate.
• Create, execute, and monitor API tests using Postman and SOAP-based testing tools.
• Perform performance and load testing using JMeter.
• Collaborate with developers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders throughout the SDLC.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and backlog refinement sessions.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and support troubleshooting activities.
• Execute SQL queries for data validation and testing purposes.
• Maintain test documentation, test cases, and defect reports using JIRA and Confluence.
• Continuously improve QA processes and automation coverage.
