UST España & Latam is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated testing for web apps, APIs, and enterprise systems. The role emphasizes strong QA methodologies, automation tools, and Agile collaboration in a remote setting across Spain.

You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and performance. The ideal candidate has experience with Selenium, Playwright, Karate, API testing, and SQL, plus Java knowledge, in a fast-paced Agile environment.

• Performs manual/exploratory testing to validate requirements and functionality.
• Builds automation frameworks using Selenium, Playwright, and Karate.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for frontend, backend, and API testing.
• Perform manual and exploratory testing to validate business requirements and application functionality.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium, Playwright, and Karate.
• Create, execute, and monitor API tests using Postman and SOAP-based tools.
• Perform performance testing with JMeter.
• Collaborate with developers, POs, BAs, and stakeholders throughout the SDLC.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, standups, retros, backlog refinement.
• Analyze results, identify defects, and support troubleshooting.
• Execute SQL queries for data validation and testing.
• Maintain test documentation and defect reports in JIRA/Confluence.
• Continuously improve QA processes and automation coverage.
