SCI ServiClients in Barcelona is seeking a senior QA automation engineer to design, build and own automated test coverage for a cloud-based learning platform. You will focus on backend services, API testing and contract validation.

The role involves OpenAPI, OAuth2 interactions, CI/CD in GitHub Actions, and running tests in containerised environments with Docker or Selenium Grid. A long-term project with hybrid Barcelona onsite 2 days, or Europe-wide remote is offered.

Formación

• Production-grade test automation with TypeScript and Node.js.
• REST APIs, service contracts, and schema validation expertise.
• Authentication flows and microservice interactions knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Design and maintain automated tests for backend services and APIs.
• Integrate with the existing TypeScript / WebdriverIO / Serenity automation repo.
• Build REST API, contract and schema validation tests.
• Work with OpenAPI, OAuth2 and OIDC in real service interactions.
• Validate behavior across microservices boundaries and async workflows.
• Read Node.js backend code to craft smarter tests.
• Integrate automation into GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines.
• Run tests in containerised environments (Docker, Podman, Selenium Grid).
• Help improve reliability of provisioning, entitlement and certification workflows.
