Merlin Digital Partner in Barcelona, CT, ES is seeking a Senior Software QA Automation Engineer to own testing strategy and automation frameworks across the software lifecycle, collaborating with Backend, Frontend, and Embedded teams to raise test coverage and ensure production readiness.

You will design and maintain automated tests for REST APIs and web applications, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, and help shape quality culture across Engineering.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional experience in QA Automation or Quality Engineering.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Proven experience designing, developing and maintaining automated testing frameworks.

Responsabilidades

• Defining and owning the software QA strategy across the product lifecycle.
• Planning and executing validation processes before production releases.
• Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Increasing automated test coverage across backend services, frontend applications and APIs.
• Reviewing software changes and identifying potential quality risks.
• Promoting testing best practices and a quality-first engineering culture.
