Jobtailor seeks a QA Engineer to lead the testing plan for both web and mobile apps in Madrid. You will design and execute manual and automated tests, detect defects, and report results to improve product quality.

The role requires SCRUM/Agile familiarity and experience with Selenium, Playwright or Cypress, plus JSON/XML data handling. You will collaborate with development teams, validate user stories, and contribute to accessibility testing.

Formación

• Analyze, design, implement and maintain test cases and test lists.
• Write manual or automated test cases to validate software functionality.
• Analyze test results and collaborate with development teams to address issues.
• Ensure adherence to software quality standards and best practices.
• Automation of tests with Selenium, Playwright or Cypress.
• Experience with Cucumber and Gherkin.
• Knowledge of JSON and XML data formats.
• Familiarity with SCRUM and Agile methodologies.
• Ability to test both app and web applications.
• Experience managing IAs as a working tool (not essential).
• Ability to choose testing strategy (not essential).
• Interest in accessibility tests (not essential).
• Experience with Jira or Azure DevOps (not essential).
• Experience automating with at least two automation technologies (not essential).
• Experience with BDD and TDD (not essential).
• Performing various types of tests (security, no-regression, integration, system, acceptance) (not essential).
