Job summary

Rotarex Firetec, a global leader in fire protection, seeks a Product Manager to own the product portfolio, translate market needs into requirements, and drive profitability across lifecycles in a 100% remote role with global collaboration.

You will work with R&D, Certification, Operations and Sales, shaping strategy, pricing and partnerships while embracing AI tools to enhance product value and efficiency, with about 15% international travel.

Qualifications

• Degree in product design, engineering or business administration required.
• 5+ years in fire suppression or related industry.
• Involved in dynamic product management activities.
• Experience overseeing multiple elements of the product development lifecycle.
• AI literacy at user level; ability to use AI tools in daily work.
• Fluent in English; French and German are assets.

Responsibilities

• Define product strategy, roadmaps and business plans.
• Translate market needs into product requirements and scope.
• Sponsor and prioritize development projects; define costs and value proposition.
• Manage products through lifecycle from development to end-of-life.
• Drive cost optimization and pricing strategies.
• Ensure certification priorities and regulatory compliance.
• Engage with customers, distributors and sales for market feedback.
• Coordinate priorities across R&D, Sales, Marketing, Quality and Operations.
• Lead product knowledge and continuous improvement initiatives.
