Job summary

Jobgether SRL is seeking a senior Platform Security Engineer to enhance cloud security, platform reliability, and secure engineering practices in a fully remote European setup. You will join a platform engineering team focused on reliable infrastructure and developer experience, designing secure-by-default workflows and protecting sensitive data across multiple countries.

Qualifications

• Hands-on platform security in production cloud environments with measurable impact.
• Strong cloud security fundamentals including IAM, SSO/OIDC, secrets management and least privilege.
• Experience with IaC, CI/CD security, security automation and observability.
• Production Kubernetes experience with workload security and access controls.
• Reliability engineering practices: SLOs, on-call and postmortems.
• Backup, restore and disaster recovery procedures tested regularly.
• Product-oriented approach focusing on developer experience and measurable outcomes.
• Fluency in English for remote collaboration and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Own security improvements in production while contributing to platform roadmap.
• Design secure-by-default workflows for production operations with auditable access.
• Strengthen cloud security practices including IAM, SSO/OIDC and least-privilege controls.
• Secure and operate production Kubernetes environments with proper workload security.
• Integrate security checks into CI/CD pipelines to catch vulnerabilities early.
• Improve IaC practices, developer tooling, and self-service guardrails.
• Manage cloud networking, DNS, TLS, load balancing, CDN and WAF configuration.
• Define security priorities, incident workflows, and post-incident reviews.
• Strengthen reliability with SLOs, observability and on-call practices.
• Design and test backup, restoration and disaster recovery procedures.
• Lead resilience exercises and refine recovery playbooks.
• Leverage AI-powered tooling to accelerate engineering tasks.
