Preply in Barcelona (hybrid) is seeking a Senior II Security Engineer for the Platform team to own cloud and platform security across AWS, Kubernetes, and GCP, focusing on detection, incident response, and secure development practices.

You will work with SRE, Data, Engineering, and GRC, drive end-to-end security initiatives, evolve monitoring, and build practical guardrails and automation while participating in on-call rotations.

Formación

• Proven experience securing cloud and platform environments in production.
• Strong fundamentals in IAM, access control, and incident response.
• Hands-on with CI/CD security and infrastructure as code.

Responsabilidades

• Own platform security across AWS, Kubernetes, and GCP with detection and incident readiness.
• Lead security initiatives end-to-end from problem definition to rollout.
• Develop and tune detections and on-call runbooks for rapid triage.
• Collaborate with SRE, Data, Engineering, and GRC to improve security posture.
• Improve logging coverage and automation to ease secure engineering.
