Job summary

Giesecke+Devrient is seeking a NetOps Engineer to join the Network Operations team. You will operate and maintain IP and mobile core networks, manage incidents, and support customer projects and deployments. The role requires hands-on experience with IP networks, VLANs, routing, and a high level of English.

Qualifications

• Formal telecoms/electronic or IP Network qualifications or equivalent experience.
• Solid understanding with practical hands on experience of IP networks, VLANs and routing fundamentals.
• High level of English is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain IP and mobile packet core networks.
• Manage incidents, service requests, changes and problems.
• Support customer projects, deployments, and network integration.
• Conduct troubleshooting and elevate to R&D when required.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure SLA compliance.
• Collaborate with NOC and cross-functional teams globally.
• Support reporting, monitoring, and service improvement efforts.
