You’ll deploy and support mobile core and IP network services, ensuring availability and performance across critical infrastructures. You will be responsible for the day to day running of G+D's network, and to support the company with new customer projects, network deployments and network troubleshooting.

Responsibilities:

• Support customer projects, deployments, and network integration.

Your profile

• Formal telecoms/electronic or IP Network qualifications or equivalent experience gained through previous roles.
• Solid understanding with practical hands on experience of IP networks, VLANs and routing fundamentals.
• High level of English is mandatory.

• IP Routing and switching (Layer 2 & 3)
• BGP routing protocol

Platforms:

• MySQL and Postgres databases
• Virtualisation & Containerisation technologies, including Cloud (AWS, Azure),VMware, Docker
• DRA/STP, HSS/HLR, P-GW, OCS and PCRF platforms
• Understanding of mobile roaming architecture including the role of serving networks, signalling interconnect and GRX / IPX providers
• Knowledge of 2G / 3G networking, 4G LTE and 5G technologies
• Experience of working with a range of telecoms technologies
• Understanding / experience of GRX and IPX networks
• Technical knowledge of maintaining on-premises equipment and cloud services in areas such as virtual machines, storage, network and security.
• Experience in deploying and maintaining production infrastructure to achieve high levels of uptime and reliability.
