Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented Remote Logistics Coordinator to join our supply chain team. This fully remote role offers the flexibility to manage shipments from anywhere while supporting national operations, using digital tools for tracking, communication, and documentation.

You will coordinate domestic and international shipments, liaise with carriers and suppliers, maintain records, track in real time, and help identify cost-saving improvements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or similar.
• Strong knowledge of logistics processes and international shipping.
• Experience with TMS and ERP software.
• Excellent communication and time management for remote work.
• Attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems.
• Reliable internet and home office setup.
• Familiar with customs procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate domestic and international shipments from origin to destination.
• Liaise with carriers, suppliers, and internal departments for timely deliveries.
• Maintain records of shipments, inventory, and related docs using digital systems.
• Track shipments in real-time and address delays or issues promptly.
• Prepare shipping documents like bills of lading and customs forms.
• Monitor inventory levels and work with warehouse teams on stock.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
• Provide timely updates to internal stakeholders on shipment status.
• Utilize remote collaboration tools to ensure smooth communication.
