Job summary

Ethos is seeking an experienced in-house counsel to help train an AI language model on professional documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. This role focuses on reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements and providing redlines, diligence memos, and risk analyses.

The work is fully remote with flexible 5–20 hours per week, starting ASAP. Compensation is $100 per hour, with potential for additional hours as projects demand.

Qualifications

• 4+ years as a transactional attorney or contracts manager reviewing commercial agreements
• Direct ownership of redlining, negotiating, or diligence-reviewing contracts
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship, with excellent written communication and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Review, negotiate, and redline commercial agreements and vendor relationships for AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks
• Create and refine due-diligence memos, clause-risk analyses, NDA and vendor-review summaries, and renewal trackers
