Xolo is seeking a Junior Risk Analyst to join its Group Risk function. You will operate first-line controls on onboarding and monitoring queues, verify client identities, screen against sanctions and high-risk lists, and escalate issues that don’t fit risk profiles. Training in GDPR, AML/CFT and related areas is provided.

You’ll join a growing Risk team with coaching from Risk Leads, a clear career path, and structured training at every step, with a hybrid/remote setup across Europe.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in economics, finance, accounting, law, or related field.
• Ability to work accurately under volume with documented decisions.
• Comfort following written procedures with defendable conclusions.
• Strong numerical literacy: read bank statements/invoices and spot inconsistencies.
• Clear written notes in English.
• Bonus: strong spreadsheet skills or data analysis background.

Responsabilités

• Verify client identity and screen against sanctions, PEP and high-risk lists.
• Work onboarding or alert queue per internal procedures and identify inefficiencies.
• Carry out customer due diligence and ongoing due diligence with information requests.
• Close routine clearances and no-action alerts within procedures and keep records of decisions.
• Escalate suspicion and high-risk outcomes to Risk Lead.
• Engage in structured training in GDPR, AML/CFT, typologies, transaction monitoring and sanctions.
