Job summary

Xolo OÜ is seeking a Risk Analyst to join the group Risk function and manage first-line controls on onboarding and monitoring queues, ensuring accuracy and proper escalation.

You will verify client identities, screen against sanctions and high-risk lists, perform due diligence, and document every decision. This role offers hybrid work in Estonia or remote work from Spain, with a clear path for progression and training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, accounting, law, or related field.
• Ability to work with written procedures and document decisions.
• Strong numerical literacy; read bank statements and invoices critically.
• Ability to write concise case notes in English.
• Bonus: strong spreadsheet skills or data analysis experience.

Responsibilities

• Verify client identity and screen against sanctions, PEP and high-risk lists.
• Handle onboarding or alert queues per internal procedures.
• Perform customer due diligence and information requests.
• Close routine clearances and maintain complete decision records.
• Escalate suspicion and high-risk outcomes to Risk Lead.
• Participate in GDPR/AML training and quarterly cross-training.
