Job summary

Xolo is seeking a Junior Risk Analyst to join the group Risk function and manage first-line controls on onboarding and monitoring queues. You will verify client identities, screen against sanctions and PEP lists, and escalate issues when needed.

No prior AML experience is required as training is provided; you will develop skills in due diligence, documentation, and risk assessment while working in a growing team that values accuracy and sound judgement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in economics, finance, accounting, law, or a related field.
• No prior AML experience required; training provided.
• Comfort with written procedures and documenting decisions.

Responsibilities

• Verify client identity and screen against sanctions, PEP, and high-risk lists.
• Manage onboarding or alert queues and identify inefficiencies.
• Perform customer due diligence and ongoing due diligence with information requests.
• Close routine clearances and keep complete decision records.
• Escalate suspicions and high-risk/PEP outcomes to the Risk Lead.
• Participate in GDPR, AML/CFT, typologies, and transaction monitoring training.
