Job summary

Brunswick Corporation in Spain seeks a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our expanding multinational team. This fully remote leadership role enables you to manage all accounting operations from anywhere in Spain while ensuring regulatory compliance and delivering strategic financial insights to senior management.

You will oversee AP/AR, GL, payroll, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls, driving process improvements and coordinating with audits.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in accounting or finance, with senior role experience.
Experience with Spanish GAAP and IFRS.
Expertise with SAP or Oracle and strong Excel skills.
Leadership and ability to manage distributed teams in a remote environment.
Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting/Finance; CPA/ACCA preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee all accounting operations, including AP/AR, GL, and payroll.
Ensure monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements comply with Spanish GAAP and IFRS.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
Develop and implement internal controls and accounting policies.
Coordinate external audits and ensure tax compliance.
Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to senior management.
