Zusammenfassung

ESSP in Madrid seeks a Service Adoption Engineer to lead EGNOS adoption and promotion across aviation and other CNS markets. You will work with stakeholders to implement the multimodal adoption plan and report on progress.

The role requires a technical mindset, familiarity with GNSS and SBAS, and strong English skills. Teleworking up to 3 days per week is offered as part of a hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifikationen

• Knowledge of GNSS sector gained via consulting, innovation projects, European projects, or activities related to EGNOS/Galileo and positioning applications.
• Familiarized with the aeronautical domain (SES – Single European Sky regulation and ANSP operations, PBN, avionics installations).
• Analytical skills to conduct market research and cost-benefit analyses.
• Understanding of satellite-based CNS technologies, mainly SBAS/navigation and also communications and surveillance.
• Knowledge of EGNOS Services and GNSS applications.
• Strong communication, presentation, and customer/stakeholder relationship skills.
• Good capacity for analysis and synthesis; autonomy and proactiveness.

Aufgaben

• Supporting the Customer in the implementation of the EGNOS Multimodal Adoption Plan actions and reporting regularly on progress.
• Promotion activities for adoption of EGNOS navigation services by European aviation stakeholders.
• Technical support to aircraft operators for their upgrade to SBAS capabilities.
• Promotion activities towards adoption in Maritime, Rail, Drones, etc.
• Engagement activities including meetings with users/stakeholders and participation in workshops/webinars.
• Contributing to promotion materials (EGNOS Bulletin, success stories, leaflets, presentations).
• Assisting in identification and procurement of tools or licenses for marketing/adoption requirements.
• Maintaining the aviation EGNOS implementation database for aerodromes, operators and avionics.
• Supporting the definition and exploitation of tools to foster CNS adoption (simulators, Cost-Benefit studies).
