Job summary

VIPA, a European multinational based in Lausanne, Switzerland, is expanding its Spain team and seeks a Commercial Executive for the Paper & Board Division. The role is remote and can be based anywhere in Spain.

You will trade paper and board products, identify new market opportunities, contact potential clients, craft proposals, negotiate prices, and manage relationships along import/export activities. Fluent English and Spanish are required, with willingness to travel within Spain.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial roles within the Paper & Board industry.
• Ability to develop relationships with current and potential clients.
• Strong communication, B2B sales and presentation skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritise projects.
• Availability to travel within the country for meetings.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish language is required.

Responsibilities

• Trading of paper and board products (ideally Tissue and Corrugated paper).
• Research and identify new market opportunities in the local market.
• Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish communication and set up meetings.
• Crafting business proposals and contracts to draw in more revenue from clients.
• Negotiating with clients and suppliers to secure the most attractive prices.
• Managing customer relationships.
• Following up on the import/export operations.
• Analyse sales, marketing, finance, and other reports to gain insights into how to improve performance and maximize growth.
