Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Programmer (SAS & R) to support German HTA work from Spain with hybrid remote engagement. The role emphasizes statistical programming, analysis of trial data, and contribution to AMNOG dossiers for Module 4.

The candidate should hold a Master’s in biostatistics or data science, have HTA/AMNOG exposure, and strong SAS/R skills. Fluency in German and English is essential for collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in biostatistics, data science, or a related field.
• Initial experience in HTA, AMNOG, HEOR, or Market Access preferred.
• Solid understanding of clinical study designs, endpoints and statistical principles.
• Familiarity with clinical study data and CDISC SDTM/ADaM standards.
• Knowledge of the German AMNOG process, IQWiG or G‑BA procedures is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development of German AMNOG dossiers with programming of analyses for Module 4.
• Analyze clinical trial data including efficacy, safety and patient-relevant endpoints.
• Perform meta-analyses and indirect treatment comparisons and support interpretation.
• Automate and standardize analysis workflows for efficiency and reproducibility.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Market Access, HEOR, Medical Affairs, EU-HTA).
• Ensure scientific quality, clarity, and consistency of outputs.
• Monitor methodological developments from IQWiG, G‑BA and HTA bodies.
