Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Programmer (SAS & R) with German for a Spain-based, remote/hybrid role. The position supports health technology assessment (AMNOG) and market access activities in Germany, focusing on statistical programming and data analysis of clinical trial data.

The ideal candidate is a biostatistician or data scientist with interest in applying clinical evidence to reimbursement decisions, and strong programming expertise in SAS and R.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in biostatistics, data science, or related field.
• Experience in HTA, AMNOG, HEOR or Market Access preferred.
• Solid understanding of clinical study designs and statistical principles.
• Familiarity with CDISC SDTM/ADaM datasets.
• Familiarity with the German AMNOG process is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop German AMNOG dossiers with a focus on statistical analyses for Module 4.
• Analyze clinical trial data for efficacy, safety, endpoints and subgroups.
• Perform meta-analyses and indirect treatment comparisons.
• Automate analysis workflows to ensure efficiency and reproducibility.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Market Access, HEOR, Medical Affairs, EU-HTA).
• Ensure quality and clarity of generated outputs.
• Monitor HTA developments from IQWiG, G-BA and related bodies.
