Job summary

IQVIA, a leading global provider of clinical research services, seeks a Programmer (SAS & R) with German proficiency for a Spain-based role (remote/hybrid). The role focuses on statistical programming to support health technology assessment (AMNOG) and market access activities in Germany.

The ideal candidate has >2 years in SAS with R as an advantage and experience in CDISC SDTM/ADaM datasets. Master's or PhD in biostatistics or data science, fluency in German and English, and a strong interest

Qualifications

Master's degree in biostatistics, data science, or a related field.
Initial experience in HTA, AMNOG, HEOR, or Market Access is preferred.
Solid understanding of clinical study designs, endpoints, and statistical principles.
Familiarity with clinical study data and CDISC SDTM/ADaM standards.
Familiarity with the German AMNOG process, IQWiG methodology, or G‑BA procedures is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Contribute to development of German AMNOG dossiers, focusing on programming analyses for Module 4.
Analyze clinical trial data, including efficacy, safety, endpoints, and subgroups.
Perform meta-analyses and indirect treatment comparisons; support interpretation of outputs.
Automate and standardize analysis workflows for efficiency and reproducibility.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Market Access, HEOR, Medical Affairs, EU-HTA Team).
Ensure scientific quality and clarity of generated outcomes.
Monitor methodological developments from IQWiG, G BA, and relevant HTA bodies.
