Job summary

Eurofragance is seeking a Regulatory Affairs specialist to support fragrance regulations worldwide. You will engage across CLP, IFRA and cosmetic rules at product level and work with sales, customer service and development teams to ensure compliance.

With 1+ year in Regulatory Affairs and fluent English and Spanish, you’ll maintain regulatory databases, assist in notifications to poison centers, and provide essential documentation to customers. Hybrid work with multilingual teams is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biology or related field is required.
• At least 1 year of experience in Regulatory Affairs preferred.
• Proficient in English and Spanish with strong documentation skills.
• Good command of Microsoft Office and data management.

Responsibilities

• Control and study of CLP, IFRA and Cosmetic Regulation at product level.
• Coordinate with sales, customer service, perfumers and development managers.
• Support perfumers across affiliates to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Improve Regulatory Systems to optimize and simplify processes.
• Review and update the Regulatory Database.
• Collaborate in notifying poison centers where fragrances are sold.
• Ensure standard documentation (IFRA, allergens, SDS) is available to customers.
• Assist sales and customer service with documentation needs.

What's your mission?

Your mission will be to provide support across all processes related to fragrance regulations managed by the Regulatory Affairs Department.

Here’s what you’ll be rocking every day

• Control and study of different legislations, like CLP (Classification Labeling & Packaging), IFRA (International Fragrance Association) and Cosmetic Regulation; at final product level in Perfumes, Body Care and Household products.

• Coordination with internal stakeholders such as sales, customer service, perfumers and Fragrance Development Managers.

• Continuous support to perfumers and Fragrance Development Managers located in all our affiliates in order to ensure that their formulas comply with the legislations and specific customer requirements that could apply.

• Continuously improve Eurofragance’s Regulatory Systems to optimize and simplify processes.

• Review and update Regulatory Database.

• Collaborate in the notification process of our fragrances to the different poison centers of the country where they are sold.

• Ensure that the standard documentation of our fragrances (IFRA certificates, Allergens certificates and Safety Data Sheets) is available for our customers.

• Give continuous support to sales and customer service team from all our affiliates to guarantee that our customers receive all the extra documentation that they need.

What you need to shine in this role

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or another related scientific field.

• At least 1 year of experience in Regulatory Affairs. Knowledge of fragrance-related regulations will be considered a plus.

• Professional proficiency in English and Spanish.

• Good command of Microsoft Office.
