Eurofragance invites motivated students to join its Innovation to Market (ITM) Team in a hands-on internship role based in Sant Cugat del Vallès. You will assist crystallization studies, solubility analyses and development of innovative formulas for fine fragrances, including solid and water-based options.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a relevant scientific degree and possess good English and Spanish language skills, with a passion for fragrance development and laboratory work.

Formación

• Currently studying a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or related fields.
• A Master’s degree in Cosmetics and Perfumery is highly desirable.
• Good level in English & Spanish.

Responsabilidades

• CRYSTALLIZATION STUDY PROJECT focusing on solubility and crystallization stability of ingredients.
• SUPPORT FOR INNOVATIVE FORMULA DEVELOPMENT – FINE FRAGRANCE including solid and water-based perfumes and updating formulation sheets.
• SOLUBILIZERS STUDY PROJECT examining solubilizers in alcohol-free or low-alcohol perfumes.

CRYSTALLIZATION STUDY PROJECT
There are certain solid perfumery ingredients that are prone to crystallization within perfume concentrations, depending on the solvent, concentration, and temperature.

The technical study focuses on analyzing the solubility of these ingredients under different conditions and assessing their crystallization stability over time.

SUPPORT FOR INNOVATIVE FORMULA DEVELOPMENT – FINE FRAGRANCE
Support in the development of innovative formulas for the Fine Fragrance category: solid perfumes, compact perfume, water-based perfumes, etc.
Updating the current formulation sheet.
The support involves: formulation of test samples in the laboratory, fragrance application testing, and stability studies of the developed formulas.

SOLUBILIZERS STUDY PROJECT
In fine fragrance, the solubilization of fragrance in alcohol-free (water-based) or low-alcohol perfumes is a frequent issue. The technical project is based on studying the performance of commonly used solubilizers compared with newer, more sustainable solubilizers that have appeared on the market in recent years.

What you need to shine in this role

• Currently studying a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or related fields. A Master’s degree in Cosmetics and Perfumery is highly desirable.

• Good level in English & Spanish
