Job summary

CPL Aromas seeks a Regional Operations Director to provide strategic and operational leadership across Europe and LATAM, overseeing sites in the UK, Spain and Colombia. You will set direction, strengthen governance and build high-performing operations that support service excellence and sustainable growth.

You will drive S&OP, capacity planning, inventory optimisation and KPI delivery through local Operations Managers, while championing safety, quality and regulatory compliance across the region.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Regional leadership across multi-site manufacturing.
• Experience in chemicals, fragrance, FMCG, or regulated production.
• Strong knowledge of factory ops, supply chain and quality.
• Proven ability to lead managers and influence stakeholders.
• Experience with CI, site transformations and cost control.
• Fluency in English and willingness to travel Europe and LATAM.

Shape the Future of Regional Operations at CPL Aromas

We are seeking an experienced Regional Operations Director to provide strategic and operational leadership across our Europe and LATAM region. Reporting to the CEO, you will oversee factory operations in the UK, Spain and Colombia. You will set clear direction, strengthen governance and build consistent, high-performing operations that support customer service and sustainable business growth.

What You Will Do

• Set the regional strategy for operations and supply chain across factories and Creative Centres.
• Lead regional governance, performance reviews and KPI management through local Operations Managers and functional leaders.
• Drive S&OP alignment, capacity planning, inventory optimisation, service performance and operational readiness.
• Improve cost control, working capital and operational contribution to regional P&L delivery.
• Coach and develop leaders, strengthen succession capability and build high-performing teams.
• Sponsor continuous improvement, productivity, waste reduction, process optimisation and site transformation initiatives.
• Standardise effective operating practices while respecting local regulatory and customer requirements.
• Champion safety, quality, environmental compliance, risk management and business continuity across the region.

What We Are Looking For

• A degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business or a related discipline; a postgraduate qualification would be advantageous.
• Significant regional leadership experience in multi-site manufacturing or operations, ideally across Europe and LATAM.
• Experience in chemicals, fragrance, FMCG or another regulated production environment.
• Strong knowledge of factory operations, supply chain, quality, warehousing, customer service and project delivery.
• A proven ability to lead managers, develop talent and influence senior stakeholders across different cultures.
• Commercial awareness, including cost management, performance improvement and operational contribution to business results.
• Experience of continuous improvement, operational excellence and major change or site transformation programmes.
• Working knowledge of health and safety, quality and environmental standards.
• Confidence using ERP systems and Microsoft Office; experience with Microsoft D365 is beneficial.
• Fluency in English and willingness to travel regularly across Europe and LATAM.
