Bridgestone EMEA is seeking a senior Finance and Administration leader to serve as a strategic financial partner to regional business leaders in Madrid. You will drive insightful analysis, planning, and decision support to enable profitable growth and efficiency across the region.

Formación

  • University degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
  • ACCA/CIMA or other recognized financial qualification.
  • More than 8 years' experience as Finance and Administration Manager/Director in a commercial environment, with international exposure.

About the Role

Act as a strategic financial partner to regional business leaders, providing insightful analysis, financial planning, and decision support to drive profitable growth and operational efficiency. The role translates financial data into actionable business insights, ensures alignment between financial performance and strategic objectives, and supports effective resource allocation across the region.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a key partner of the Regional Director for business units in achieving the company’s mid-term plan targets, strategy, and policy.
  • Manage the key operations teams at headquarters: finance, credit, accounting & controls, controlling, and general services.
  • Identify sources of financial risk, cost, and profit opportunities; collaborate with other non‑financial directors/managers to develop and implement appropriate business projects and actions.
  • Assist in preparing and evaluating business cases, monitoring results, and acting on findings.
  • Contribute significantly to the South West Region Leadership Team.
  • Coordinate, produce, and report actual, budget, and mid‑term plan financial results to the Managing Director, Executive Team, and European Head Office.
  • Perform analysis, explain variances, and make recommendations that support top management decision making to achieve company objectives.
  • Monitor OPEX and work with functions to manage spending in line with company performance.
  • Manage working capital (receivables, inventory, payables) and control company assets.
  • Maintain balanced risk exposure with the Customer Portfolio through credit management, ensuring credit reviews, payment plans, and execution.
  • Supervise all activities in the shared services accounting department, ensuring compliance with legal, tax, regional, and group requirements.
  • Establish and maintain internal control procedures, administrative and financial policy standards.
  • Support internal/external audit and SOX activities, ensuring timely remediation of findings.
  • Develop an effective administrative organization, driving process automation and resource optimization.
  • Lead people management, including talent development, coaching, teambuilding, and motivation.
Requirements

Education: University degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting. ACCA/CIMA or other recognized financial qualification.

Language Skills: Spanish and fluent English; Portuguese is a plus.

Professional Experience: More than 8 years as a Finance and Administration Manager or Director in a commercial/sales environment, with international and matrix manufacturing experience. Team‑management experience in a matrix organization is required.
