Job summary

Victaulic Company is seeking a Sales Engineer to drive sales and development of the FP product range in NW Spain and Portugal. You will promote the Victaulic FP system, demonstrate installation, and pursue specifications with Owners and engineering teams.

The role requires a 5+ year technical background, willingness to travel up to 75%, strong communication, and fluency in English and local language. You will train distributors, support field installations, and coordinate with finance and other

Qualifications

• University / College degree, preferably as a mechanical engineer, or demonstrate equivalent.
• Technical knowledge gained through experience (minimum 5 years).
• Familiarity with piping business or ability to acquire necessary knowledge quickly.

Responsibilities

• Sell and promote the Victaulic FP product range in NW Spain and Portugal.
• Report weekly to the Sales Director on activities and results.
• Promote the Victaulic System for binding application products.
• Field demonstrate the proper installation of the Victaulic FP product & tool range.
• Pursue and obtain the acceptance and specification of the Victaulic System by Owners and Engineering Consulting companies.
• Ensure that the proper knowledge of the Victaulic FP products and system is present in the region via seminars, training, literature, and technical support.
• Liaise with the local Victaulic distributor, and ensure information flow is maintained.
• Visit job sites and follow up of installation process; train contractor personnel if required.
• Handle product claims in cooperation with Victaulic Corporate Engineering department.
• Provides assistance to finance personnel in collecting receivables on customers.
• Co-ordinate with other sales colleagues in the territory.
