PV Project Engineer Intern

We are looking for a candidate to support our growing team in the development, design, construction, and commissioning of solar PV and storage projects.

What value will you bring to the team?

As an intern, you will provide support to PV Project Engineers across all project phases. Over time, you will progressively develop the skills and expertise of a fully‑fledged PV Project Engineer. Tasks will include:

• Assisting in the review and preparation of technical due diligence reports, including PV resource analysis, grid connection evaluation, technology, energy yield and site assessment.
• Supporting the review of project design documentation under the guidance of the PV Project Engineers.
• Contributing to the preparation of Expressions of Interest / Prequalification dossiers, technical and financial offers in reply to RfPs.
• Assisting with technical, administrative and logistical tasks for the management of international technical assistance projects.
• Supporting tasks related to international public clients such as L'Energètica, Asian Development Bank, European Commission, Global Center for Adaptation, Green Climate Fund, World Bank, African Development Bank, Inter‑American Development Bank, European Investment Bank and others.

Must-haves for this role

This is a support role based at our offices. No travel or on‑site stays are required.

Education Requirements

• BSc in Engineering – currently in the final years of the degree or recently graduated.
• MSc in Renewable Energy / Energy / Industrial Engineering would be favourably considered.

Professional Experience

• No prior professional experience required. Academic projects, internships or personal initiatives related to renewable energy or engineering will be valued.

Languages

• English: Professional working proficiency or higher.
• French and/or Spanish would be favourably considered.

• Willingness to take initiative and develop problem‑solving skills.
• Knowledge of solar PV software (e.g. PVSyst, Homer Pro) will be favourably considered.
• Good command of MS Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
