A leading renewable energy company in Madrid is looking for a Senior PV Engineer to lead design reviews and support project development in the solar sector. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in the PV energy industry, with skills in system design and installation. Proficiency in both English and Spanish is essential. Formación

• 5+ years of experience in the PV energy industry, including design, installation, and troubleshooting.
• Advanced to Intermediate English (B2-C1) and Native Spanish (C1-C2) proficiency.
• Experience in leading engineering design reviews is preferred.

📢 We are looking for a Senior PV Engineer to join a leading renewable energy generation multinational group. The ideal candidate is someone passionate about the renewable energy sector and is looking for a new professional growth!

Functions & Responsibilities:

• Lead engineering design reviews and structural assessments, providing technical input across solar sourcing, system layout, and component specification.
• Perform detailed site audits to collect mechanical and electrical data to inform PV system design, revamping, or repowering projects.
• Recommend and implement design or manufacturing modifications to optimize mechanical performance and durability of solar systems.
• Support installation and commissioning teams, ensuring alignment with mechanical design, start-up procedures, and quality standards.
• Coach and develop junior engineers, while participating in technical advisory roles during due diligence and acquisition processes.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering & Design.
• At least 5 years of experience in the PV energy industry, including experience of PV plants design, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Advanced to Intermediate English language proficiency (B2-C1), Native Spanish language proficiency (C1-C2), both written and verbal.
